Quote and Project Plan
- Our scientific experts will conduct an initial feasibility check of your protein sequence. This will involve a literature check, database check, product check etc. The purpose of this check is to define the optimal service strategy for this specific target.
- A comprehensive quotation for the project will be submitted to you via email or by secure data transfer, at your preference.

Plasmid Generation & Cloning
The following steps are to be carried out:
- PCR-based cloning or direct cloning of target DNA into trenzyme’s proprietary expression vector(s)
- Isolation of plasmid DNA
- QC of final construct by DNA sequencing

Small scale pilot study: Validation of secreted target protein expression in mammalian cells and feasibility of purification process prior to production to achieve maximum efficiency and save the customer significant time and money:
- Transient small-scale protein expression in shake flask culture
- Small-scale purification by affinity chromatography from culture supernatant (batch mode)
- Validation of successful target protein purification by SDS-PAGE and Western Blot
- Compilation of documentation of pilot study
- Guarantee: After a successfully completed pilot study, the outcome of this service package (purity and yield) is guaranteed
